Pets on Wheels of Connecticut, Inc. is a 501(c) (3). We believe that no one should be denied their own pet. We make a difference one pet and one person at a time.
Our Wheels take animals from rescue shelter cages to loving homes. Each spoke represents different services of the Pets On Wheels of Connecticut Organization. |

REFERRAL NETWORK
Placement starts with a referral from our network of professionals. Physicians, Social Workers, Faith Based Organizations, Elder Care Practitioners who know people who would benefit from having a pet and are aware of their need for some type of assistance to make this happen.
RESCUE SHELTERS
All cats and dogs placed are from rescue shelters ready and waiting to be adopted.
EVALUATE
We evaluate recipients to find out what assistance they need to insure a happy home for the pet and the person.
PLACEMENT
We permanently place pets with people who want and need a pet companion.

TRANSPORT
We provide transportation (if necessary) for the placement of the pet, delivery of food, supplies and vet visits.
